Abstract
PURPOSE:To provide sliding component parts which is excellent in abrasion resistance as well as with satisfactory seizure resistance even under high contact pressure by plasma spraying a plasma spraying material containing C, Si, Mn and Cr in a predetermined ratio respectively and comprising the remainder of substantially Fe on the surface of a sliding part of a steel material. CONSTITUTION:A plasma spraying material comprising 0.5-1.0% C, 1.2-1.6% Si, 0.3-0.9% Mn, 0.5-1.0% Cr and the remainder of substantially Fe is prepd. Further, about impurities in said plasma spraying material, P and S is pref. suppressed to 0.1% or less and Cu to 0.2% or less respectively. Next, on the surface of a slide part of a steel material such as carbon steel, alloy steel, cast iron or the like, the aforementioned plasma spraying material is subjected to plasma spraying by an oxygen-acetylene flame method or the like to form a plasma spraying layer and, thereby, an objective slide part is obtained.
