Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable the stable stop of a motor without providing an exclusive circuit for braking by forming a brake circuit for shortcircuiting both terminals of the motor with the drive circuit when a rotating direction controlling signal is not inputted. CONSTITUTION:When either one of normal and reverse drive input signal switches S1 and S2 is closed, a motor M is normally or reversely rotated. When switches S1, S2 are simultaneously opened, the diodes D3, D4 are interrupted, TrQ7 is conducted, thereby conducting diodes D1, D2, conducting TrQ1, Q2 to shortcircuit both terminals of a DC motor M. On the other hand, TrQ3, Q4 are interrupted. As a consequence, the motor is regeneratively braked to instantaneously stop after the drive input signal is interrupted.
