Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent vibration and noise by installing balance shafts perpendicularly crossing with a crankshaft at the center of the engine, dividing the crankshaft in two sections and by rotating said two sections in the reverse direction to each other to establish a rotational balance of the engine. CONSTITUTION:When the engine is started, the right side crankshaft 1 and the left side crankshaft 2 rotate in the direction reverse to each other, so that a rotational balance of the engine is established to reduce vibration and noise. The rotation of right side crankshaft 1 and left side crankshaft 2 are transmitted through a right side gear 3 and a left side gear 4 to a front gear 7 and a rear gear 8, respectively, resulting in idle rotation of a front 5 and rear 6 balance shafts.
