Abstract
PURPOSE: To simplify the whole circuit constitution and also to improve precision by reducing I/O ports by composing the circuit of a frequency signal converter, processor and pulse-width-signal/analog-signal converter.
CONSTITUTION: Frequency signal converter 1, processor 2 and pulse-width-signal/ analog-signal converter 3 are provided. Analog input signal ei is converted by converter 1 into frequency signal fi that corresponds to signal ei and it is input to the I port of processor 2. Next, processor 2 counts signal fi to obtain a digital signal, the fixed digital arithmetic processing of which is performed. The arithmetic result is output from the 0 port in the form of pulse-width signal ew and converted by converter 3 into analog output signal eo, which is output. The above-mentioned constitution requires only one I/O port of processor 2 each for input and output and this never requires A/D and D/A converters of complex circuit constitution.
