Abstract

PURPOSE: To miniaturize the structure while insulation property is maintained, in insulating an inverse potential shaft piercing through a wall plate of the dust collector with an isulator, by providing a heating apparatus to the insulator thereby sticking of dust and moisture to said insulator is prevented.
CONSTITUTION: When the wall plate 5 and the shaft 6 are charged to inverse potential, the dust contained in a waste gas is adhered and collected. In this time, an electric heat wire 9 is applied with electric current by a power source 11 to heat the insulator 7. When soot or water is adhered to a peripheral part of a groove in said condition, the soot is combusted by heat of the insulator 7 and, at the same time water is evaporated. As the result, insulation capacity due to the insulator is maintained and an accident such as short circuit is prevented.
