Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the temperature drop characteristic at the time of starting an automatic air conditioner, by setting a thermal sensing element in a case equipped almost at the center of a suction grill. CONSTITUTION:A temperature sensing element 28 is placed in a case 34 almost at the center of a suction grill 32 which is attached at a right angle to the wall of a suction unit 22. The sensing element 28 can detect heat load in the case 34 on the initial stage of running the air conditioning device, which indicates the average temperature of suction air. The enclosure of the element 28 with the case 34 provides the themal sensing action with hysteresis to improve the temperature drop characteristics at the time of starting.
