Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable the control for a comfortable indoor temperature by a method wherein the combustion control by an indoor-temperature sensor is stopped when the difference between a set temperature and an outdoor air temperature is less than the standard difference in temperature and the state of combustion is controlled by a prescribed combustion control program. CONSTITUTION:Inside a case body 1 an electric equipment box 19 controlling the combustion and airing is installed and an indoor-temperature sensor 20 and an outdoor air temperature sensor 21 are also provided. In the electric equipment box 19 a set temperature for the indoor temperature is set and a microcomputer wherein a combustion control program for controlling the state of combustion in a combustion chamber 8 is set is accommodated therein. In the case when the difference between the indoor set temperature and the outdoor air temperature sensed by the outdoor air temperature sensor 21 is larger than a standard difference in temperature, the indoor temperature is maintained within the range of about + or -2 deg.C to the set temperature, and when the difference is less than the standard difference, the control of combustion is the combustion chamber 8 by the indoor temperature sensor 20 is stopped and the combustion control in accordance with a prescribed combustion program by the microcomputer is performed.
