Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain optional output voltage or output current by providing a connector connected with an inside element electrode on the outer surface of the side wall of a container wherein the solar cell element is housed and thereby simplifying the serial or parallel formation of these elements. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of solar cell element sheets 11 formed of substrates prepared by piling single-crystalline Si or amorphous Si are housed in the container 2 made of plastic and the like, and a transparent plastic or glass plate is provided on one plane 21, which is made to be a photoreceiving surface 21. Next, on the outer surface of a pair of opposed side walls of the container 2 are provided a female-type connector 31 and a male-type connector 32, which serve for single employment, and they are connected with the anode and cathode of the element sheet 11 respectively. In addition, on the photoreceiving surface 21 a mark 4 indicating the direction of polarity is painted, while on the other pair of opposed side walls of the container 2 are provided female-type connectors 51, 52 and male-type connectors 61, 62, which serve for plural employment. After that, the connectors 51 and 61 are connected with the anode of the element sheet 11 and the connectors 52 and 62 with the cathode thereof, and by these connections, the container 2 is connected in series or in parallel as occasion calls.
