Abstract
PURPOSE: To decolor a letter, a design, etc. written or drawn with a sign pen, etc. readily by an acidic aqueous solution, etc., by using a dye which is decomposed and decolored by a chlorine oxidizing agent in the presence of an acid.
CONSTITUTION: (A) A dye, which is stable to an oxidizing agent in the absence of an acid, decomposed and decolored in the presence of the acid, e.g. Alizarin Light Blue 4GL, is incorporated with (B) one or more oxidizing agents selected from chlorites and chlorates at a weight ratio between the components (B) and (A) of preferably 1:1W1:5. to give an aqueous solution. 5W20wt% drying preventing agent, e.g. glycerol, is added thereto, if necessary.
