Abstract
PURPOSE: To save wasteful power consumption by interrupting current supply to a heater when it is left standing for more than a fixed time after the warming-up of the heater is finished when the power source is turned ON.
CONSTITUTION: Now, when power source switches 61, 62 are turned ON, a fan motor 7 rans and a DC power source is outputted from a power source circuit 13. A main control circuit 14 outputs an FF set signal S2 which sets an FF circuit 16, by which the normally open contact 19a of a relay 19 is closed to energize an electromagent switch 9 and close its contacts 81, 82. This causes a heater circuit 4 to supply current to a heater 3 to rapidly heat the same, thereby holding the heater 3 at a set temp. When the heater 3 reaches the set temp., a ready signal S1 is outputted and is inputted to the main control part 14. When inputted with the ready signal S1, a ready lamp lights and a timer set signal S3 is output to operate a timer circuit 17. When the copying switch is not turned ON despite the lapse of a fixed time in this state, the timer circuit 17 times up and outputs a signal to interrupt the current supply to the heater 3.
