Abstract
PURPOSE:To make it possible to set a lock width freely without lowering selectivity, by supplying the output of an amplifier, amplifying an AFC signal, to a local oscillating circuit via a resistance voltage divider. CONSTITUTION:Resistors 17 and 30, when a voltage applied to the cathode side of varicap 18 in local oscillating circuit 21 is VB, generate VB=[R30/(R17+R30)] (VA-VS)+VS, where VA is the output voltage of differential amplifying circuit 15 and VS is the voltage of power source 16. Therefore, even if the output voltage of differential amplifying circuit 15 is at any level, the resistance value of resistor 17 or 30 is set adequately to make it possible to set the voltage applied to varicap 18 within a desired variable range of voltages, so that the design of the receiver will be facilitated.
