Abstract

PURPOSE:To equivalently reduce the distance between the nozzles in the direction of the column, by slanting the nozzle columns comprising a plurality of nozzles for different colors for the direction of the row. CONSTITUTION:For example, on a head front HSF1 are arranged a red nozzle 14b, a blue nozzle 15b and a yellow nozzle 16b in a line. If printing is carried out by a suitable timing pulse as what they are, dots are obtained as shown in the drawing. The diameter of the nozzles is 60mum, the distance between the nozzles is about 180mum, the column of the nozzles is slanted at about 20 deg. with the direction of movement of the head (the row direction), and the nozzles are displaced by about 60mum in the column direction.
