Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve drawing characteristics and tracking characteristics by changing over the operation ranges of a loop gain and control voltage through a gate. CONSTITUTION:In normal operation, quasi-phase control signal APC controls voltage control oscillator VCO4 via FF1. In abnormal operation, the output voltage of FF1 has an offset generated at level ''H'' or ''L'' and arithmetic control circuit 5 sends control signal CONT to FF2. Then, FF2 fetches the quasi-APC-signal through gates G3-G5. As a result, the signals applied to VCO are outputs from FF! and FF2, which is equivalent to an increase in loop gain. In accordance with the values of resistances R1 and R2 provided to the outputs of FF1 and 2, the proportion of the contribution of each FF to the APC signal can easily be controlled and making R2 less than R1 specially provides a decrease in normal loop gain.
