Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce power consumption in lighting circuits by providing plural light emitting diodes with equivalent resistors which almost correspond to the internal resistance at diode emission wherein each diode is connected in series by a lighting switch corresponding to each diode. CONSTITUTION:Equivalent resistors r0-r19 which almost correspond to the internal resitance of diodes D0-D19 at emission are connected to plural light emitting diodes D0-D19 in parallel with each diode D0-D19. Key contacts S0-S19 for lighting which illuminate the diodes D0-D19 are provided at each parallel circuit. Furthermore, each parallel circuit is connected to a power source E in series through a key contact SUP for power closing and a resistor R for power limit. Resistors corresponding to illuminated diodes and unilluminated diodes are connected in series by the key contacts S0-S19 corresponding to each diode D0-D19 and the power consumption in lighting circuits will be reduced without increasing the number of parts.
