Abstract

PURPOSE:To expand the output control range by detecting the zero voltage of a resonating inductor, and controlling the width of the conducting pulses of a transistor and a diode. CONSTITUTION:The inverter circuit 3 is provided with the resonating inductor 31 which is connected in series with a power switching semiconductor 32 and a resonating capacitor 34. A control circuit 4 controls said inverter 3. Said control circuit 4 is constituted by a voltage detecting circuit 45 of the resonating inductor 31, a timer circuit 46 which responds to said circuit 45, a timer 47 which establishes the conducting pulse width of a semiconductor in response to said timer 46, and a driving circuit 48 which drives the power switching semiconductor in response to the output signal of said timer 47. The control circuit 4 detects the input current of the inverter 3, and controls the conductive pulse widths of the semiconductor 32 and the diode 33 by the driving circuit 48 in synchronization with the voltage of the resonating inductor 31.
