Abstract

PURPOSE:To easily enable to realize a communication service for a data other than voice and picture, by digital coding of voice as well as control signal, and performing time sharing multiplex communication through the use of loop shape transmission line for all the information. CONSTITUTION:Stations 1-3 are provided with control units 4-6 performing the catch and release control of channel on loop transmission line and adaptors 9-11. When a calling is made from the terminal, the adaptors receive this and output channel request signal to the channel control section of the loop transmission unit. Thus, this control section detects the cahnnel where the bit of the control time slot is vacant, the bit is rewritten into occupancy and delivered on the loop to deliver the transmission permission signal to the adaptors. Further, when the incoming side responds, the response signal is located on the control time slot, allowing to simply make the communication service for the data other than voice and picture, through the time sharing multiplex communication through the loop.
