Abstract
PURPOSE:To detect low speed of a car, by utilizing the fact that the waveform of a reception signal turns to the double side-band modulated wave being in the suppressed transmission mode of the frequency components while a car is running. CONSTITUTION:An AC signal of the fixed frequency is transmitted and received between an antenna CA provided on the car CT and a ground loop antennas LA which are provided equidistantly along the running path of the car CT. Utilizing the fact that the waveform of reception signal turns to the double side-band modulated wave being in the suppressed transmission mode of the frequency component while a car is running, a bandpass filter is provided which passes a double side-band frequency corresponding to a transmission frequency and a detected speed of the car. Then the signal level is detected passing through the filter to detect the low speed of the car CT.
