Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the leakage of secret due to misconnection, by avoiding a playback at the reception misconnected for a transmitted video data, if misconnection is ocurred. CONSTITUTION:The transmission section transmits the designated address code from the address code generating circuit 4 at first. Next, the same address code is continuously produced and it is in modulo 2 addition for the video data and the address code at the modulo 2 adder 8 and transmitted with coding. At the reception side, the address code transmitted at the beginning of the reception data is detected at the address detector. Next, the same address code as the detected designation line is continuously generated at the address code oscillator, and at the modulo 2 adder, this address code and the coded video data are added with decoding. Further, decoded video data is transmitted to the still picture transmission reception section on the designated line. With this constitution, as far as the address code of the same line at the transmission and reception side is not produced, then the confidentiality can be kept, since the reception side can not decode the video data.
