Abstract
PURPOSE:To provide an offset press which can avoid the occurrence of elongated printing and improve printing quality without dropping the rate of operation by removing moisture on the surface of a drum between an inking part and a printing part. CONSTITUTION:To a plate 1' damping water 10 is applied to the nonprinting part of the plate 1 by damping rollers 9 and ink is applied to the printing part of the plate 1 by inking rollers 2, 3, 4 and 5. A drying device 12 dries the damping water 10 and also reduced moisture in ink 11 making it into almost pure ink 11 when printed on paper 7.
