Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve a heat exchange efficiency and facilitate assembling of a heat accumulating tank, by a method wherein a cover is positioned such that a wider opening is formed at a flow-in side of a convection, and a narrower opening is formed at a flow-out side of the convection corresponding to the direction of the convection of a fluid in a subject heat accumulating tank used with a heating and hot water feed system utilizing the solar heat.
CONSTITUTION: A heat exchanger 15 for heating is inserted for fixing at a lower part of a heat accumulating tank 14, and a cover 19, which is positioned such that a wide opening is formed at a flow-in side of a convection of a fluid, and a narrow flow-out port 18 is provided at a flow-out side, is mounted so as to cover the heat exchanger 15. A heat exchanger 16 for heat absorption is placed at an upper part of the heat accumulating tank 14, and a cover 21, which is formed like the cover 19, is mounted in the direction opposite to that of the cover 19. Mounting of the covers 19 and 21 so simply formed can stabilize the convection of the fluid, whereby a heat exchange efficiency can be improved and the heat accumulating tank 14 can also be assembled easily.
