Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve a thermal efficiency, by a method wherein two flat casings are used as a unit, and when a water path pipe is heated by the solar heat, a heated air, simultaniously, is circulated between the pipes.
CONSTITUTION: A water path pipe 6, made of a good heat conductive substance and arranged in zigzag, is mounted in flat casings 1 and 2. An inside end 8 of the casing 1 and an inside end 9 of the casing 2 are connected together through a pipe 11. A circulation pipe 14 is positioned between outside ends 7 and 10 of the casings 1 and 2, respectively. Spaces in the two flat casings 1 and 2 are connected to each other through two air pipes 18 and 19. An air circulation fan 20 is mounted on the air pipe 18, and this enables the uniform mixing of air in the flat casings 1 and 2. Heating of the water path pipe 6 by direct sunlight and the circulation between the water path pipes 6 of heated air produce an excellent thermal efficiency and shorten a heating period.
