Abstract
PURPOSE: To control the temp. of a strip at the outlet of heating area accurately to a target temp. by adjusting the temp. of the plural heating zones in the heating area in a continuous annealing apparatus of strips to the specific set temp. according to annealing conditions.
CONSTITUTION: A strip 6 is heated by radiant tubes 7 in the six heating zones of a continuous annealing apparatus. In this case, various annealing conditions (a)W(h) and a target furnace temp. difference (i) are inputted to a calculator 12, by which the furnace temp. set value of each heating zone is obtd. When a predetermined difference is given to the furnace temp. for every heating zone, the relation A of a invariable furnace temp. at every zone and annealing conditions according to the strip temp. and the relation B of the ratios of the change amount of the strip temp. to the change amount from the constant value of the furnace temp. of each zone are beforehand obtd. A constant furnace temp. is obtd. from the formula A and the difference of the constant furnace temp. which does not change the strip temp. and the furnace temp. of each zone is obtd. from the formula B, and the furnace temp. of each zone obtd. from said differences is set in a furnace temp. adjuster 9, whereby a furnace temp. controller 10 and a fuel flow rate controller 11 are controlled.
