Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a honeycomb structural body of light weight and thin type by filling the pastelike mixed material of metal powder and a binder among the bundled wire materials and solidifying the same then rolling the materials, cutting them to a desired shape and sintering the same after removing the wire materials.
CONSTITUTION: A solvent such as ethyl acetate, toluene or the like is mixed in Al powder and butyral resin, acrylic resin, etc. and these are mixed to prepare a pastelike mixed soln. Bundled wire materials are dipped in this mixed soln. to fill the soln. among the wire materials, after which the soln. is solidified. Thence, the wire material bundles are rolled or drawn and are then cut, whereby the blank material of a disired shape is formed. Finally, the wire materials are removed from the blank material and the blank material is sintered.
