Abstract

PURPOSE: To atomize fuel, by applying an ultrasonic generator to a carburetor.
CONSTITUTION: An atomization chamber 6 is set in a fuel passage between a float chamber 2 and mainjet 11 opened to Venturi 13 in the suction system of an internal combustion engine. A vibrating element 7 connected to a vibrator 8 is set to the bottom of the chamber 6 in order to produce ultrasonic waves for atomizing the inside fuel. An accelerator pedal 10 is connected to the vibrator 8 through a variable resistor 9 so as to control its function in response to the stepping distance of the pedal 10.
