Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain the analog signal according to frequency signal with a simple circuit, by picking up the low frequency component as a result of multiplication for two signals, and also picking up the low frequency component as the result of multiplication between one signal delayed by 90 deg. phase shift and another signal delayed the same. CONSTITUTION:Signals S1, S2 input to input terminals 1, 2 are multiplied at a multiplication circuit 3, and the low frequency component S3 as the result of multiplication is picked up at a low-pass filter 4. On the other hand, the signal S1 is input to a delay circuit 5 and the signal S2 is input to a delay circuit 7 via a 90 deg. phase shift circuit 6, and the low frequency component S4 as a result of the multiplication of the outputs is obtained at a multiplication circuit 8 and a low-pass filter 9. After the low frequency components S3, S4 are multiplied at a multiplication circuit 10, the low frequency component is picked up 11 and picked up as the detection output S5 of the frequency difference of the input signals S1 and S2 at the output terminal 12.
