Abstract
PURPOSE:To make easy the modulation and demodulation of two color signals, by the amplitude modulation of the carrier shifted by a given phase every appearance of the same color signal if the same color signal is consecutive in transmitting two color signals of black and red, and of the carrier of the same phase as that for the chrominance signal immediately before in case of different color signal. CONSTITUTION:The chrominance signal of two colors is input to the phase control circuit 16 and the flip flop 17 is reset with the black signal and set with the red signal. Further, it is fed to the coincidence circuit 19 with the output delayed by one signal at the D type flip flop 18. If the input to the coincidence circuit 19 is in agreement, high level is output and if in disagreement, low level is output. The output of the flip flop 21 is inverted every time when the output of the video signal circuit 13 is given to the flip flop 21 at high level output. The phase of the carrier is inverted every same color signal and the phase of the carrier immediately before is output in case of different color signal.
