Abstract
PURPOSE: To make highly accurate measurement with simple constitution and operation by disposing a presser 3 provided with a moisture measuring sensor to a vessel for measurement.
CONSTITUTION: A vessel 10 for measurement provided with an on-off plate 9 which is opened and closed by an on-off device 8 is disposed to the lower half of a machine frame 1, and a sliding cylinder 7 which slides vertically is inserted to the upper half. A disc-shaped presser 3 provided with a moisture measuring sensor 2 is mounted and fixed to the lower end part thereof. As a result, the unhulled rice grains in a unhulled grains in a unhulled rice rice tank 18 fall by gravity in a feed path 20 formed at an angle or repose and are thus supplied into a vessel 10 for measurement, thereafter the top surface is leveled off by a leveling-off device 11 operated by the revolution of a torque motor 5 by a metering switch 22; at the same time the surface is pressed by a presser 3 under arbitrary predetermined pressure on descending of a slinding cylinder 7, thus the electrostatic capacity is measured by the moisture measuring sensor 2 in the state that no cavities are formed. The result is displayed as an unhulled rice grain moisture value in a display device 23.
