Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent fuel from adhering on a wall surface and improve a precision in controlling a flow rate of air sucked by a method wherein a quantity of the air sucked is controlled by means of a cylindrical throttle valve which is formed of slits on the peripheral surface.
CONSTITUTION: The throttle valve 5 which is equally arranged with two slits 6 on the peripheral surface is rotatably supported on a holder 4 holding a fuel injection valve 3, and by revolving the valve 5, an overlapping area of the slits 6 and a body 11 is changed and a quantity of the air supplied through a cleaner is controlled. Namely, the slits 6 and a passage 12 are slightly overlapped when a low-load such as an idling being applied, but accompaying an increase of the load, the overlapping area is enlarged and the area of the inlet passage 12 is gradually increased.
