Abstract

PURPOSE: To form anodized film having sufficient thickness and good appearance, by heating an aluminum die cast product in a specific temp. range for a prescribed time, then by anodizing the die cast product.
CONSTITUTION: A die cast product is heated at 200W360°C temp. where no blister is formed, for a specific time, then by anodizing the product by usual method. This method allows to form thick anodized film, having improved corrosion resistance and hardness without deteriorating its appearance, precision, and sealing power of aluminum die cast product.
