Abstract
PURPOSE: To cultivate chlorella at a high concentration, by adding a condensed phosphate to a culture fluid, and keeping the high iron content in a dissolved state.
CONSTITUTION: A condensed phosphate, e.g. sodium or potassium salt of pyrophosphoric, polymetaphosphoric or polyphosphoric acid, in a concentration of 1×10-5W1×10-3mol/l is added to a culture fluid of chlorella to keep the iron content of 1×10-5mol/l or higher in a dissolved state in the culture fluid.
