Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain the captioned cutting machine wherein driving sprocket wheels are supported axially on both sides of a truck provided with a cutter which cuts the peripheral surface of a pipe, driven by a chain, wheel the peripheral surface of the pipe is held by an endless chain. CONSTITUTION:The truck 1 is provided with the sprocket wheel 1c at one end thereof and with a projected piece 9f for engagement with which a follower sprocket wheel 8 is engaged removably at the other and further is provided with a rotary cutter 4. The chain 6 holds the outer-peripheral surface of the pipe 14 and is driven by the driving sprocket wheel 5 of the sprocket wheel 1c, guiding the truck 1 along the outer-peripheral surface of the pipe through the intermediary of an intermediate sprocket wheel 4. The cut-in of the cutter 4 is adjusted by the rotational adjustment of the handle 12d of a cut-in device 12.
