Abstract

PURPOSE: To accelerate rising of temperature in a casing and also to improve refrigeration cycle start-up characteristics, by providing a pressure-applying step designed capable of detecting whenever temperature of refrigerant being exhaled is lower than a certain temperature and pressing an exhausting valve mechanically.
CONSTITUTION: A bimetal 15 is provided on top of an exhausting valve stopper 14. While refrigerant is compressed and pushed into an exhausting port 12 when a roller 13 turns, pressure is applied to an exhausting valve 11 by the bimetal 15 to keep the exhausting port 12 until temperature of the refrigerant in a casing reached a prescribed temperature. When the temperature in the casing reached the prescribed temperature, the bimetal 15 starts bending to release its projection 16 which has been applying pressure to the exhausting valve 11. As operation of the compressor is restarted from this time, it is possible to accelerate rising of temperature in the casing and obtain a satisfactory start-up characteristics.
