Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent the excessive injection of fuel in the area of a low speed and a high load by arranging mutually-faced plungerleads for a large and a small diameter oil-discharging holes to cover the top of the plunger of a fuel injection pump.
CONSTITUTION: On a plunger barrel 7 in which a pump plunger 6 of a fuel injection valve is reciprocated and rotated, a small-diameter oil-discharging hole 8a and a large-diameter oil-discharging hole 8b are arranged to be mutually faced, and a fuel-supply hole 5 is bored at anothr position. On the plunger 6, a small-diameter oil-discharging hole plunger lead 15a and a large-diameter oil-discharging hole plunger lead 15b are provided with parabolic slant lines. In the area of a low speed and a high load of an engine, the small-diameter plunger lead 15a is connected with the small-diameter oil-discharging hole 8a for making fuel escape partly.
