Abstract

PURPOSE: An adhesion composition that is composed of a specific ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer resin, a thermoplastic block elastic copolymer resin, etc., in a specific proportion, thus permitting tight adhesion between a styrene resin and a metal and having semipermanent pot life.
CONSTITUTION: (A) 60W95pts.wt. of an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer resin containing 10W100wt% of a modified ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer of 10W 70wt% aromatic vinyl monomer unit content and (B) 5W40pts. of a thermoplastic block elastic copolymer composed of a conjugate diolefin and an aromatic vinyl compound are blended so that the total amount becomes 100pts. The resulting product is combined with (C) 5W50pts. of an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer resin containing 0.5W100wt% of a modified ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer of 0.01W10% ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid unit content to produce the objective adhesive composition.
