Abstract
PURPOSE:To increase the number of characters without increment of conventional high-group and low-group frequencies, by introducing the concept for time to combination of two frequencies in the multifrequency signal system. CONSTITUTION:Precedence is given to generation and stop of two frequencies, and four combinations 1-4 on the time base for two frequencies can be taken, and H and L indicate the high-group frequency and the low-group frequency respectively, and logical levels ''1'' and ''0'' indicate the oscillation state and the oscillation stop state respectively. By recognizing these four combinations, the number of characters which is four times as much as the conventional that, namely, 64 kinds of character can be discriminated.
