Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a high-reliability and simple-constitution tone arm driver by bringing an elevating rotary plate into contact with and away from a lift member according to the motion of a power shaft and by rotating a rotary plate that elevates a tone arm.
CONSTITUTION: The arm axle constituting the main driver body provides elevating motion and rotating motion is provided with elevating rotary plte 19 and rotary plate 6 that rotates tone arm 1 to and from rotary plate 19 while their faces are opposing to each other. Then, rotary plate 6 is provided with lift member 43 that elevates tone arm 1 and member 43 is arranged opposing to elevating rotary plate 19. While elevating rotary plate 19 is brought into contact with or away from lift member 43 according to the elevating motion of arm shaft 4, rotary disk 6 in contact with lift member 43 of elevating rotary plate 19 is rotated via lift member 43 according to the rotating motion of arm shaft 4.
