Abstract
PURPOSE: To accelerate the injection of cooling water and prevent two kinds of cooling water from being mixed with each other, by using a vacuum pump to suck air out of a radiator through a suction pipe and injecting the cooling water through an injection pipe.
CONSTITUTION: To inject cooling water, an injection valve 26 is connected to the injection part 120 of a radiator 2 first. A change-over valve 37 is operated to a communication position, another change-over valve 39 is operated to a right-hand position and air in the radiator 2 is sucked by driving a vacuum pump 36. When a vacuum pressure switch 43 is closed, one of change-over valves 34aW34e which corresponds to cooling water of prescribed concentration is shifted to a communication position to connect one of water tanks 9aW9e to the radiator 2. An injection pump 24 is then driven to inject the cooling water into the radiator 2 through an injection pipe 27 etc. When the radiator is almost filled with the cooling water, the water is sucked to a recovery tank 40 through a suction pipe 42 etc. When the radiator is filled with the cooling water, the injection is stopped.
