Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain an electroacoustic converter of high performance by bonding an electrode-coated piezoelectric film so that the expansion and contraction direction of the piezoelectric effect will agree with the axial direction of the honeycomb structure. CONSTITUTION:Honeycomb structure 2 is made of a piezoelectric film by applying adhesives thinnly; and diaphragm 1 of an insulator is bonded to the upper end of the axis of honeycomb structure 2, the bottom surface to base 3 of an insulator with air holes, and sound absorbing material 4 to the back. Therefore, honeycomb structure 2 expands with an input electric signal and vibrates on the whole as shown by the arrow.
