Abstract
PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for any special electric power source and control unit by providing an arc interference preventing mechanism between both electrodes in the TIG-MIG welding method which performs welding by generating arcs simultaneously in both electrodes. CONSTITUTION:The electrode 1 of TIG welding is let cathode and the electrode 2 of MIG welding anode, and these are connected to electric power sources 3A, 3B. Arcs 5A, 5B generate between these and the welding works 4, but the magnetic flux density is high between both electrodes and therefore the arcs bend in the directions of the arrows. Because of this, a shielding member 6 of high magnetic permeability material is provided between both electrodes to even the magnetic flux density.
