Abstract
PURPOSE:To simplify the structure and to improve the durability of the monostable type polar electromagnet by a method wherein a nonmagnetic plate is adhered to one side face of two inclined faces of a leg piece or to a part of a magnetic plate confronting with the inclined face, and both outer edges of the leg are hinged to armatures. CONSTITUTION:Both faces 6c of one side leg piece 6a of a yoke 6 confronting with two magnetic plates 1, 2 are made to incline, the thickness D1 of the leg piece 6a at the inner side edge is made to be smaller than the thickness D2 at the outer side edge, a nonmagnetic plate 7 is adhered to one side face of the both inclined faces 6c or to a part 2a of the one side magnetic plate 2 confronting with the inclined face 6c, and both outer edges 6d of the leg piece 6a are hinged to an armature. The armature 4 is attracted and is hold by a leg 6b of the yoke 6. When a current is made to flow in a coil 5, the armature turns reversely as shown in the figure (b). When the exciting current is made to be cut in the next time, the armature comes in the state as shown in the figure (c), but the holding force of a magnet 3 is so weak that the armature comes back to the state as shown in the figure (a). By this way, the structure of the polar electromagnet is simplified and the durability can be improved.
