Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain the titled composite magnetic alloy smaller than a nonoriented silicon steel sheet in iron loss in a simple manufacturing process by joining an amorphous magnetic alloy contg. a specified amount of P, B, etc. and a crystalline Fe-Si alloy to each other.
CONSTITUTION: An amorphous magnetic alloy consisting of 10W35 atomic% at least one of P and B and the balance Fe and a crystalline Fe-Si alloy are joined to each other to obtain a low-loss composite magnetic alloy. By especially substituting 1W15 atomic% at least one of Si and C for part of the P or B and 1W40 atomic% Ni for part of the Fe, the resulting alloy has superior characteristics. This alloy requires no complex manufacturing process like an oriented silicon steel sheet, and the alloy thickness can be increased by twice or more with no restriction in manufacture like a single amorphous magnetic alloy.
