Abstract

PURPOSE:To ensure a simple and assured feed for discharge to the resistance layer, by securing a conatact between the conductive roller and the end exposed area of the resistance layer or the recording layer and thus securing a direct or indirect feed. CONSTITUTION:The conductive roller 8 has a conduct to the exposed end area of the conductive resistance layer 1b via the spring 9 coupled with the shaft 11 of the metal drum 6. Thus a simple and assured feed is carried out to the layer 1b of the recorder formed with the inductive recording layer 1a opposing to the insulated layer 1c, the layer 1b and the recording electrode. At the same time, the closed circuit reaching the power source 7 via the layer 1a, the surface of the layer 1b which forms the boundary between the layers 1a and 1b plus the electrode 2 is formed by the conductive roller 13 which has a contact to the layer 1a at the position different from the electrode 2. Thus the feed is carried out indirectly to the layer 1b and in a simple and assured way. And a high-quality electrostatic latent image is formed by the discharge caused by these feeds.
