Abstract
PURPOSE:To achieve simplified copying operation by setting the side guide and end guide on the buttom plate of tray having free tranfer motion, and also by constructing both guides so that they can remove to any position conforming to the size of copying papers having one-side already copied, which are then contained in and laid upon the tray. CONSTITUTION:Clutches 23 (24) are operated by the signal of the detector 30 provided nearby the paper discharger 6, and the side guide 3 and the end guide 4 are transferred to the direction to open respective guides along the guard rails 7 and 8 through the pulley 91 having large diameter and the other pulley 92 having small diameter. When the copying paper is laid upon the buttom plate 1, said clutches 23 (24) are disconnected, and the other clutches 24 (23) are operated and then transferred to the direction to close the side guide 3 and the end guide 4, then, the detector 281-283 are set ON so that the copying paper can be set at a specific position after disengaging the clutch 24. Thus, the operation can be simplified as said copying paper having one-side copied is being correctly laid upon the tray.
