Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent the disconnection of liquid supply to reboiler circulation system when the downflow of overflowing liquid is reduced as well as to make the reboiler work as one theoretical stage by connecting the overflow pipe from the tray at the lowest stage of a distiller to bottom liquid by a conduit so as to anable the liquid to pass.
CONSTITUTION: The overflow pipe 2 from the tray 3 at the bottom of the distiller 1 is connected to the boiler feed pipe 9 through liquid in the bottom liquid trap 13, and the liquid path 15 is provided in a portion immersed in the liquid trap 13. Thus, when the amount of downflow of the overflow pipe 2 is reduced, a great amount of the bottom liquid 13 flows through the path 15 into the overflow pipe 2 to fill the boiler pipe 9, preventing the disconnection of liquid supply. Also, during the normal operation, the liquid becomes overflowing liquid in the liquid trap and therefore is not mixed with the liquid reheated in the reboiler, so that reboiler can effectuate as one theoretical stage.
