Abstract

PURPOSE: To multiply and activate various bacteria contained in a culture fluid to a maximum according to the properties thereof and maintain the balance at a high density, by applying a multidirectional ultrasonic wave and light to the culture fluid of various becteria intermittently and repeatedly.
CONSTITUTION: Adequate amounts of a hypertonic glucose, an L-amino acid, an organic acid and an assistant are added to a buffered culture fluid adjusted to make various bacteria used for decomposing or deodorizing an organic waste live in balance and form a cycle wherein the bacteria grow and propagate utilizing nutrients and decomposition products consumed by them in supply to one another. A multidirectional ultrasonic wave and ordinary light and near ultraviolet light are applied to the culture fluid intermittently and repeatedly several times according to the cycle of growth and multiplication of the various bacteria. After the various bacteria in the culture fluid are multiplied and activated to a maximum per unit amount of the fluid, only the multidirectional ultrasonic wave is applied to the culture fluid.
