Abstract

PURPOSE: To keep resonance in a curved pipe and to produce electricity by utilizing water flow through the curved pipe, by dividing an air compressing section formed at one end of said curved pipe projected above the sea surface into a plurality of air compressing chambers respectively equipped with a valve, and providing a propeller water turbine in said curved pipe.
CONSTITUTION: The air compressing section 2, 2' formed at one end of the sea- water introducing, curved pipe 1 projected above the sea surface are divided into a plurality of air compressing chambers 3 with respective valves 4, and the propeller water turbine 5 designed to rotate only in one direction is provided in he cruved pipe 1. Opening and closing of valves 4 is controlled according to the wave length, so that resonance can be kept always in the curved pipe 1 by controlling the volume of compressed air appropriately. By thus causing resonance of sea water in the pipe 1 according to the wave length, it is enabled to drive a generator by means of the water turbine 5 utilizing water flow through the pipe 1.
