Abstract

PURPOSE:To realize a high-accuracy and easy attachment of the secondary reflector at a fixed position and in a relation to the main reflector and at the same time ensure an easy shielding of the undesired radiation waves, by securing a unified structure for both several units of secondary reflectors and the masking shield. CONSTITUTION:The focus F1 of the secondary reflector 2 coincides with the phase center of the primary radiator 1, and the F2 is the common focus of both the secondary reflector 3 and the main reflector 4. The periphery of the reflectors 2 and 3 is enclosed with the metal masking shield 5, and at the same time shield 5 is formed into one body with the reflectors 2 and 3. As a result, the radiation into the space other than the front direction of the antenna can be avoided for the electric wave diffracted at the edge of the reflectors 2 and 3 or the electric wave leaked directly from the reflectors 2 and 3 among the electric waves radiated from the focus F1.
