Abstract
PURPOSE:To perform a detection for glow discharge of an X-ray tube and poor insulation of a high voltage bushing, by providing overcurrent detecting circuits at anode and cathode sides respectively in the X-ray tube and ceasing a supply of power in accordance with their output. CONSTITUTION:To a neutral point in a rectifier smoothing circuit 3 at the anode side of an X-ray tube 4 the first overcurrent detecting circuit 15 is connected, and to a neutral point in a rectifier smoothing circuit 3' at the cathode side the second overcurrent detecting circuit 16 is connected. To output sides of said first and second detecting circuits 15, 16, display circuits 17, 18 for lighting a lamp are connected respectively, further outputs of the detecting circuit 15, 16 are applied to an interlocking circuit 19. Further by an output of the interlocking circuit 19, a power supply relay 1 and filament heater circuit control relay 12 are controlled. In this way, an overcurrent generated in the X-ray tube can be prevented.
