Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve treating efficiency and recovery of the liquid to be treated, by making treating vessel of chromate treating apparatus porous and freely rotatable. CONSTITUTION:The basket 7 filled up the material to be treated 18, such as bolt etc., is put in the treating vessel 6 and is intermittently or reversely rotated by the motor M1. Washing liquid is sent to the nozzle tube 21 by opening the automatic valves MV3, MV4 and the material 18 is washed. Next, nitric acid solution is sent to the vessel 1 through the solution distribution tank 9 by operating the pump P1 maintaining the same rotation and the material 18 is dipped in the above solution. Supply quantity is controlled by the level gauge L. The nitric acid solution is recovered to the nitric acid tank B by opening the automatic valve MV1 after dipping for 3-5sec. In the same manner as the last time, the material 18 is washed and chromate solution in the chromate solution tank C is sent to the vessel 1 by operating the pump P2 and then, the supply quantity is controlled by the level gauge. The same rotation is carried out by the motor M1 and the chromate solution is recovered to the chromate tank by opening the automatic valve MV2 and moreover, washing is carried out. The material 18 is dried by a hot air from the hot-air drier E after dehydrating by a rapid rotation of the motor M2.
