Abstract
PURPOSE:To clarify the reproducing picture of the part where the video signal level changes rapidly, by causing phases in respective horizontal flyback times of the frequency-modulated video signal to agree with one another relatively when the video signal is frequency-modulated and recorded. CONSTITUTION:The luminance signal is separated from the color television signal input from input terminal 10 by low-pass filter 12. This luminance signal has high- band components emphasized by preemphasis circuit 15 and is supplied to frequency modulator 17 after removing undershoot and overshoot by white dark clip circuit 16. The horizontal synchronizing signal is separated from the input color television signal by horizontal synchronizing signal separating circuit 13, and this synchronizing signal is shaped by monostable multivibrator 18 and is supplied to modulator 17 after made into a prescribed-phase pulse by phase control circuit 19, thereby starting oscillation with a prescribed phase in the horizontal flyback time.
